RESOLUTION NO. 2025-555
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2026 SIDEWALK INFILL, SIDEWALK RAMP AND
TRAIL REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 5A, CONTRACT NO.
1131.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has developed plans, specifications, and a form of
contract for the FY 2026 Sidewalk Infill, Sidewalk Ramp, and Trail Repair Program - Zone 5A,
Contract No. 1131; and
WHEREAS, the proposed plans and specifications have been prepared in accordance
with City standards and guidelines to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to confirm approval of these documents and authorize
proceeding with the execution of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The plans, specifications, and form of contract for the FY 2026 Sidewalk Infill,
Sidewalk Ramp, and Trail Repair Program - Zone 5A, Contract No. 1131, are hereby approved.
2. Authorization is granted to proceed with bidding, contracting, and execution of the
project in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
