WHEREAS the City of Waterloo seeks to promote economic development and enhance business opportunities within the community; and WHEREAS,Xcel Electric LLC intends to construct a 4,000 square foot building on property located southwest of 3211 Titan Trail, facilitating local economic growth; and WHEREAS, a Development Agreement has been prepared, outlining the terms and conditions for the construction and conveyance of the property for the nominal amount of$1.00; and WHEREAS, the agreement supports the City's strategic economic objectives and adheres to applicable regulations and policies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The Development Agreement with Xcel Electric, LLC is hereby approved, facilitating the construction of a 4,000 square foot building. 2. The conveyance of the property located southwest of 3211 Titan Trail to Xcel Electric, LLC for$1.00 is authorized as per the terms of the Development Agreement. 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
