RESOLUTION NO. 2025-564
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
DONATION OF REAL PROPERTY AGREEMENT TO THE
CITY OF WATERLOO FROM HOPE MARTIN ANDERSON
REVOCABLE TRUST, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2500
W. 4TH STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is committed to acquiring properties that serve the
public interest and enhance community assets; and
WHEREAS, the Hope Martin Anderson Revocable Trust has generously offered to
donate real property located at 2500 W. 4th Street to the City of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, this property donation aligns with the City's strategic goals for community
development, green space expansion, or other municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of this donation requires formal approval and authorization
for execution by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council approves the acceptance of the Donation of Real Property Agreement
from the Hope Martin Anderson Revocable Trust for the property at 2500 W. 4th Street.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the necessary documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
