RESOLUTION NO. 2012-971
RESOLUTION APPROVING EQUITABLE SHARING
AGREEMENT AND CERTIFICATION WITH THE
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF
THE TREASURY AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification dated
October 1, 2012, which establishes the procedures,
responsibilities, and obligations of the Task Force members, and
establishes a formula for the equitable sharing of assets seized
and forfeited as a result of the combined efforts of the Task
Force members, by and between the Department of Justice, the
Department of the Treasury and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and
the same is hereby approved, and the Director of Safety Services
and Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1St day of October, 2012.
