RESOLUTION NO. 2012-989
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
MUNICIPAL PIPE TOOL COMPANY, LLC OF HUDSON,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $177,098.60, AND
APPROVING CONTRACT, BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF
INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y. 2012
CIP SEWER LINING, WEST AIRLINE HIGHWAY,
CONTRACT NO. 834.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract, Bonds and Certificate of Insurance with
Municipal Pipe Tool Company, LLC of Hudson, Iowa, in the amount
of $177,098.60, in conjunction with the F.Y. 2012 CIP Sewer
Lining, West Airline Highway, Contract No. 834, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project in Resolution No. 2012-943, after public hearing on
September 24, 2012 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are
