RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MIDWEST
TOOL COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION TO HOLD MIDWEST
TOOL COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION CONVENTION ON
SEPTEMBER 26-30, 2012.
WHEREAS, the Midwest Tool Collectors Association has
requested that they be allowed to hold the Midwest Tool
Collectors Association Convention on September 26-30, 2012, and
WHEREAS, said convention will be held at the Five Sullivan
Brothers Convention Center, including the closing of the
northbound lane of the 200 block of 4th Street on September 26,
2012 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m., and closing the northbound
lane of the 200 block of Park Avenue on September 27, 2012 from
6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Midwest Tool Collectors
Association to hold the Midwest Tool Collectors Association
Convention at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center on
September 26-30, 2012, including the closing of the northbound
lane of the 200 block of 4th Street on September 26, 2012 from
12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. , and closing the northbound lane of the
200 block of Park Avenue on September 27, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. to
12:00 noon, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 2012.
