RECEIVING.OF BIDS
Sealed proposals ',Mil be received by
the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at her office in the City Hall of
the said City on the 18th day of Sep-
tember. 2025, until 1:00 p.m. for the
construction of the Winn Street San-
itary Sewer, Contract No. 1134, as
described In detail In the plans and
specifications now on file in the Office
of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened
in the Harold E. Getty Council Cham-
bers at City Hall, In the City of Wa-
terloo. lows, on the 18th day of Sep-
tember 2025, at 1:00 p.m., and the
proposals +Mil be acted upon at such
ater time and place as may then be
fixed by the City Council. The bid
opening will be livestreamed on You -
Tube and made available on the city
webslte.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice Is hereby given that the Coun-
cil of said City will conduct a pub-
lic hearing on the proposed plans,
specifications. form of contract, and
estimate of cost for the construction
of the above -described Improvement
project at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of
October, 2025, said hearing to be held
In the Harold E. Getty Council Cham-
bers in City Hall in said City. The pro-
posed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by
AECOM are now on file In the office of
the City Clerk for public examination,
and any person Interested therein
may file written objection thereto with
the City Clerk before the date set for
said hearing or appear and make
objection thereto with the City Clerk

the meeting above set forth.
SCOPE OF WOK
Work under this Contract entails the
construction of approximately 1.131
feet of sanitary sewer main along
Winn Street and US 2D In south Wa-
terloo from US 20 to Tower Park Drive.
Published pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter 26 of the City Code of Iowa
and upon order to the City of Water-
loo. Iowa, on the 2nd day of Septem-
ber 2025.
