RESOLUTION NO. 2025-579
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MONDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2025, ON AN APPLICATION FOR
A STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN AND TO MAKE
AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC THE CONTENTS OF AN
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION DOCUMENT AND THE
CITY'S PROJECT PLAN AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is considering an application for a State
Revolving Fund loan to finance improvements that are vital to the City's infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set a public hearing date to discuss the application, the
associated environmental information document, and the City's project plan, thereby ensuring
public transparency and engagement; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk is required to publish notice of said public hearing in
accordance with legal requirements, ensuring adequate public awareness and opportunity for
input.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The date for the public hearing on the application for a State Revolving Fund loan, as
well as the environmental information document and project plan, is hereby set for December 1,
2025.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance
with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
