RESOLUTION NO. 2025-586
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY LANDMARK TURF
SERVICES, LLC, OF DUNKERTON, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $54,208.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026
LEVEE RIP RAP SPRAYING, CONTRACT NO. 1120, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC has completed the work associated with the
FY 2026 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 1120, as per the contract specifications with the
City of Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the project involved critical maintenance services designed to preserve the
integrity and functionality of the levee system, ensuring flood protection and environmental
stability; and
WHEREAS, the City's inspection and engineering teams have reviewed the completed
work and recommend its acceptance as satisfactorily meeting the contractual obligations; and
WHEREAS, a two-year maintenance bond has been submitted by Landmark Turf
Services, LLC to guarantee the quality and durability of the work performed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The completion of the project by Landmark Turf Services, LLC, in the amount of
$54,208.00 for the FY 2026 Levee Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 1120, is hereby approved.
2. The work is accepted as meeting the required standards and specifications set forth in
the contract.
3. The two-year maintenance bond provided by Landmark Turf Services, LLC is hereby
received and filed to ensure continued compliance with quality standards.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October 2025.
