RESOLUTION NO. 2025-589
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $349.00, WITH LA
PORTE ROAD DQ, INC., LOCATED AT 1506 LA PORTE
ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD
PHASE II RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is engaged in the La Porte Road Phase II
Reconstruction Project, which requires temporary access to certain private properties to facilitate
the necessary improvements; and
WHEREAS, La Porte Road DQ, Inc., located at 1506 La Porte Road, has agreed to grant
a Temporary Easement to the City for the purpose of this project; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the financial consideration for this easement is
$349.00, deemed fair and reasonable for the rights conferred; and
WHEREAS, the execution of this agreement is essential for the timely progress of the
reconstruction project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City Council hereby approves the Temporary Easement Agreement between the
City of Waterloo and La Porte Road DQ, Inc., in the amount of $349.00.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
