RESOLUTION NO. 2025-592
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH TERRACON CONSULTANTS, INC., OF
CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$31,350.00 IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 EDA
WATERLOO AIR RAIL PARK (WARP), STORM SANITARY
AND WATER EXTENSIONS, CONTRACT NO. 1138, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the FY 2026 EDA Waterloo Air Rail
Park (WARP) Storm, Sanitary, and Water Extensions, Contract No. 1138, which requires
specialized professional services; and
WHEREAS, Terracon Consultants, Inc., of Cedar Falls, Iowa, possesses the necessary
expertise to provide such services, assisting in the design and implementation of critical
infrastructure extensions; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated an agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc. for
these services, with costs not to exceed $31,350.00; and
WHEREAS, engaging these services is crucial to ensuring project success, quality, and
compliance with engineering standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the Professional Services Agreement with Terracon
Consultants, Inc. for the specified infrastructure project in an amount not to exceed $31,350.00.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
