RESOLUTION NO. 2025-646
RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. 8, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $10,340.00, WITH EN COMMUNICATIONS, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2023 CONSTRUCTION OF A
FIBER -TO -THE -PREMISE FEEDER/DISTRIBUTION AND
BACKBONE NETWORK PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1088,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo entered into Contract No. 1088 with EN
Communications for the FY 2023 Construction of a Fiber -to -the -Premise (FTTP)
Feeder/Distribution and Backbone Network Project; and
WHEREAS, City staff and the Contractor have prepared Addendum No. 8 to address
necessary scope clarifications and/or quantity adjustments and related work to complete the
Project in an orderly manner; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 8 results in an increase to the contract in the amount of
$10,340.00 and sets forth any associated modifications to the work, schedule, or details as
specified therein; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed Addendum No. 8 and recommends its approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. Addendum No. 8 to Contract No. 1088 with EN Communications, in the amount of
$10,340.00 is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
