RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2012-764
IN IT ENTIRETY APPROVING APPLICATION WITH
KASIM MUSTEDANAGIC FOR TAX EXEMPTIONS ON
IMPROVEMENTS TOTALING $180,000.00 FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4128 MOCKINGBIRD LANE IN
THE CITY LIMITS URBAN REVITALIZATION AREA
(CLURA), IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Kasim Mustedanagic submitted an application dated
March 27, 2012 to the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
requesting to receive tax exemptions on improvements totaling
$180,000.00 for property located at 4128 Mockingbird Lane, more
fully described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2 in Crossroads Estates Replat No. 4,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and,
WHEREAS, said applicant began and completed improvements on
said property during the time in which such improvements were not
eligible for the tax exemption as set forth in the City Limits
Urban Revitalization Area (CLURA) Plan as adopted by the City
Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and as set forth in the
Urban Revitalization Act as adopted by the Legislature of the
State of Iowa and signed by the Governor of the State of Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that Resolution No. 2012-764, be and the
same, hereby rescinded in its entirety.
