RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF WATERLOO HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
TO DESIGNATE WASHINGTON PARK AS A LOCAL
HISTORIC LANDMARK, GENERALLY BOUNDED BETWEEN
SOUTH STREET, WASHINGTON STREET, WEST PARK
AVENUE AND WEST 3" STREET, AS OCTOBER 1,
2012, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 1St day of October, 2012, for
the purpose of considering the request of the Waterloo Historic
Preservation Commission to designate Washington Park as a local
historic landmark, generally bounded between South Street,
Washington Street, West Park Avenue and West 3rd Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of September, 2012.
