RESOLUTION NO. 2025-667
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
PERFORMED BY PETERS CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,400,472.06,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TERMINAL PARKING
CANOPY STRUCTURE PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. ICAIF
NO. 9I220ALO400.
WHEREAS, Peters Construction Corporation has completed the work associated with the
Terminal Parking Canopy Structure Project, Contract No. ICAIF No. 9I220ALO400, as per the
contract specifications with the City of Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the project and recommends approval of
completion and acceptance of the work in accordance with the plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the final contract amount for the Project is $2,400,472.06.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The completion of the project by Peters Construction Corporation in the amount of
$2,400,472.06 for the work associated with the Terminal Parking Canopy Structure Project,
Contract No. ICAIF No. 9I220ALO400, is hereby approved.
2. The work is accepted as meeting the required standards and specifications set forth in
the contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of November 2025.
