RESOLUTION NO. 2025-668
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY DON GARDNER
CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $24,785.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO
CONVENTION CENTER SKYWALK REMODEL PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Don Gardner Construction has completed the work associated with the
Waterloo Convention Center Skywalk Remodel Project, as per the contract specifications with
the City of Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the Building Inspector has inspected the project and recommends approval
of completion and acceptance of the work in accordance with the plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the final contract amount for the Project is $ 24,785.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The completion of the project by Don Gardner Construction in the amount of
$24,785.00 for the work associated with the Waterloo Convention Center Skywalk Remodel
Project, is hereby approved.
2. The work is accepted as meeting the required standards and specifications set forth in
the contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of November 2025.
