RESOLUTION NO. 2013-223
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MARGARITA
MELCHOR FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Margarita Melchor is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on July 13, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in
conjunction with a Birthday Party event to be held at 1836 Forest
Avenue, to include a band, with recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Margarita Melchor has made formal application
for a variance effective July 13, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Margarita Melchor for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on July 13, 2013
from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in conjunction with a Birthday Party
event to be held at 1836 Forest Avenue, to include a band, be and
the same hereby granted.
