QUIT CLAIM DEED
For the consideration of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) and other valuable consideration,
City of Waterloo, Iowa, does hereby quit claim to Marcelino Bailon Perez, all of its right, title,
interest, estate, claim, and demand in the following described real estate in Black Hawk County,
Iowa:
The Southeasterly 38 feet of Lots 8 and 9 in Block 9 in"Whitney's
Subdivision"in Waterloo, Iowa.
This deed is given in full satisfaction of that certain Real Estate Contract dated
March 18, 2024, and recorded on July 10, 2024 as Doc. No. 2024-17112.
Subject to (a) easements, servitudes, conditions, and restrictions of record; (b) current and
future real estate property taxes and assessments; (c) general utility and right-of-way
easements serving the property; and (d)restrictions imposed by City zoning ordinances
and other applicable law.
Deed from Iowa political subdivision. Exempt from real estate transfer tax, declaration
of value and groundwater hazard statement.
The grantor hereby covenants with grantees, and successors in interest, to warrant and defend
the real estate against the lawful claims of all persons claiming by, through, or under it, except as
may be stated above.
Words and phrase herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the
singular or plural number, and as masculine or feminine gender, according to the context.
