NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 15th
day of December 2025: at 5:30 p.m.,
in the Harold E. Getty Council Cham-
bers in the City Hall in the City of Wa-
terloo, Iowa, a public hearing will be
held by the Council of the City of Wa-
terloo, Iowa, for the sale and convey-
ance of approximately twelve acres
of City -owned property in the amount
of $1.00 to Wahawk Power, LLC, for
the construction of an 80,000 square -
foot data center, with an accessory
water treatment area and substation,
having a minimum assessed value of
$6:000,000.00, located north of 570
West Shaulis Road, Including a De-
velopment Agreement and Minimum
Assessemenf Agreement with rebate
schedule of ten -years at fifty -percent,
legally described as follows:
The East 1600 feet of the Southwest
Quarter (SW 1/4) lying north of the
South Half (5 1/2) of the South Half
(S 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW
1/4), Section 9, Township 88 North,
Range 13 West of the Fifth Princi-
pal Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
Anyone who is interested may appear
at said time and place and be neard
or may file written objection with the
City Clerk, City Hall, Waterloo: Iowa,
before the date set for said hearing.
