RESOLUTION NO. 2025-704
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $715.00 WITH METRO
INVESTMENTS WATERLOO, LLC, LOCATED AT 1329 LA
PORTE ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE
ROAD PHASE II RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is engaged in the La Porte Road Phase II
Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire a t4emporary easement from Metro Investments
Waterloo, LLC, located at 1329 La Porte Road, Waterloo, Iowa to facilitate the completion of
this project; and
WHEREAS, Metro Investments Waterloo, LLC, has agreed to grant a temporary
easement to the City of Waterloo for the sum of $715.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1.The Temporary Easement Agreement between the City of Waterloo and Metro
Investments Waterloo, LLC, encompassing compensation as described above, is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
