RESOLUTION NO. 2025-687
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
DECEMBER 15, 2025, FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT BY
RNK INVESTMENTS, LLC, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
12,000 SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL BUILDING, AND A
FUTURE 12,000 SQUARE FOOT EXPANSION, LOCATED IN
THE "M-2,P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT LOCATED
NORTHEAST OF 4050 LEVERSEE ROAD, AND INSTRUCT
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, RNK Investments, LLC, has proposed a Site Plan Amendment for the
construction of a 12,000 square foot commercial building with a future 12,000 square foot
expansion; and
WHEREAS, the development is located in the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District
northeast of 4050 Leversee Road; and
WHEREAS, the Site Plan Amendment is subject to review and approval to ensure
compliance with zoning and development standards; and
WHEREAS, Iowa law requires a public hearing to gather public input and authorize the
proposed amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The public hearing be set for December 15, 2025, to review and consider the Site Plan
Amendment proposed by RNK Investments, LLC.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance
with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
