RESOLUTION NO. 2025-696
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
NO. 2 WITH AECOM, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,364,500.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 LA
PORTE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE II, CONTRACT NO.
1128, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the FY 2026 La Porte Road
Improvements, Phase II, Contract No. 1128; and
WHEREAS, AECOM, Inc. has been selected to provide professional services related to
these improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with AECOM, Inc., in the amount of
$1,364,500.00, is necessary to further the project's goals; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to proceed with this agreement to ensure the
timely completion of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with AECOM, Inc., in the amount of $1,364,500.00,
related to the La Porte Road Improvements, Phase II, Contract No. 1128, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December 2025.
