RESOLUTION NO. 2025-700
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH EN
ENGINEERING, LLC OF LISLE, IL, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,295,460.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO
FIBER PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the Waterloo Fiber Project to enhance
digital infrastructure and connectivity; and
WHEREAS, EN Engineering, LLC of Lisle, IL, has been selected to provide essential
services for this project; and
WHEREAS, the agreement involves an amount of $1,295,460,00 to ensure successful
project execution; and
WHEREAS, this initiative supports the City's goal to improve technological
infrastructure for residents and businesses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1.The Agreement with EN Engineering, LLC, in the amount of $1,295,460.00, for the
Waterloo Fiber Project is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December 2025.
