RESOLUTION NO. 2025-701
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $197.00 WITH CHATHA
PROPERTIES, LLC, LOCATED AT 1008 LA PORTE ROAD, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD PHASE II
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the La Porte Road Phase II
Reconstruction Project to improve local infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, a Temporary Easement Agreement with Chatha Properties, LLC, located at
1008 La Porte Road, is necessary for project execution; and
WHEREAS, the agreement amount is $197.00, facilitating access and construction
activities related to the project; and
WHEREAS, securing this easement is essential to ensure project completion with
minimal disruption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Temporary Easement Agreement with Chatha Properties, LLC, in the amount of
$197.00, for the La Porte Road Phase II Reconstruction Project, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December 2025.
