RESOLUTION NO. 2013-257
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATIONS TO MAX & HELEN GUERNSEY
CHARITABLE FOUNDATION AND COMMUNITY
FOUNDATION OF NORTHEAST IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the submission of grant applications dated April 8, 2013, to
the Max & Helen Guernsey Charitable Foundation in the amount of
$10,000.00, and to the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa in
the amount of $10,000.00, with no required match, for funding a
public art project for the addition of a permanent large-scale
kinetic sculpture to be erected at the entrance to the Phelps
Youth Pavilion, by and between the Max & Helen Guernsey
Charitable Foundation, the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same are hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of April, 2013.
