RESOLUTION NO. 2025-712
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TWELVE-MONTH
EXTENSION WITH LUMEN FOR INTERNET CIRCUIT FOR
PHONE LINES AT CITY HALL AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo currently utilizes Lumen for internet circuit services
crucial for the operation of phone lines at City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the current agreement is set to expire, and a twelve-month extension has
been proposed to ensure uninterrupted services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed extension and finds it in the
best interest of the city to continue utilizing Lumen's services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves a twelve-month extension of the agreement with
Lumen for internet circuit services for phone lines at City Hall.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
