RESOLUTION NO. 2025-714
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERSON CONTRACTORS,
INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$396,535.03, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026
AIRPORT FENCE RELOCATION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
1133, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa, has completed work on the
FY 2026 Airport Fence Relocation Project, Contract No. 1133, for a total cost of $396,535.03;
and
WHEREAS, City staff and project engineers have inspected and reviewed the completed
work and recommend formal acceptance; and
WHEREAS, a two-year maintenance bond has been received and examined, covering the
work done under this contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves and accepts the completion of the Airport Fence
Relocation Project as executed by Peterson Contractors, Inc.
2. The work performed is officially accepted, and the total payment of $396,535.03 is
acknowledged as complete.
3. The City Council receives and files a two-year maintenance bond from Peterson
Contractors, Inc., ensuring the quality and durability of the completed work.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December 2025.
