RESOLUTION NO. 2025-722
RESOLUTION APPROVING A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT
WITH REVIZE, LLC, FOR WEB CONTENT ACCESSIBILITY
GUIDELINES COMPLIANCE AND REMEDIATION
SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000.00 PER YEAR WITH
AN OPT OUT OPTION AFTER ONE YEAR, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is committed to ensuring that its digital content is
accessible to all community members, including those with disabilities; and
WHEREAS, Revize, LLC, specializes in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
compliance and remediation services, and has proposed a three-year agreement at a cost of Three
Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) per year; and
WHEREAS, the agreement includes an opt -out clause after one year, providing the city
with flexibility based on service satisfaction and budgetary considerations; and
WHEREAS, this agreement aligns with the City's goals to enhance digital inclusivity and
meet all applicable legal and regulatory standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The three-year agreement, in the amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) per
year, with Revize LLC, for WCAG compliance and remediation services is hereby approved.
2. The City reserves the right to opt -out of the agreement after one year if deemed
necessary.
3. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
