RESOLUTION NO. 2025-726
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ONE NEW
SINGLE-FAMILY HOME LOCATED TO THE SOUTH OF 210
NORIMER STREET, INCLUDING AN INFILL HOUSING
GRANT OF $7,500.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa, supports initiatives to enhance residential
development and affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity proposes the construction of a new
single-family home located south of 210 Norimer Street, contributing to community
revitalization and housing needs; and
WHEREAS, the Development Agreement includes an infill housing grant of Seven
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) to support this project; and
WHEREAS, the agreement aligns with the City's goals for sustainable development and
neighborhood improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1 . The Development Agreement with Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity, including the
inf ll housing grant, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December 2025.
