RESOLUTION NO. 2025-733
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,156.00; REMOVAL
OF 36.8 SQUARE -YARDS OF ASPHALT PAVING, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,723.00, FOR A TOTAL COMPENSATION
AMOUNT OF $4,882.00, WITH ROBERT C. KROGH,
LOCATED AT 810 LA PORTE ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD PHASE II RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the La Porte Road Phase II
Reconstruction Project to enhance infrastructure and traffic flow; and
WHEREAS, the project requires a Temporary Easement Agreement and the removal of
asphalt paving on the property located at 810 La Porte Road, owned by Robert C. Krogh; and
WHEREAS, the agreements have been negotiated as follows:
• Temporary Easement Agreement in the amount of Two Thousand One Hundred Fifty -Six
Dollars ($2,156.00).
• Removal of 36.8 square -yards of asphalt paving in the amount of Two Thousand Seven
Hundred Twenty -Three Dollars ($2,723.00).
WHEREAS, the total compensation is Four Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty -Two
Dollars ($4,882.00), aligning with the project's requirements and city standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Temporary Easement Agreement and asphalt removal with Robert C. Krogh are
hereby approved for the total amount of $4,882.00.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December 2025.
