RESOLUTION NO. 2013-294
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF NORTHEAST IOWA
FOOD BANK TO HOLD KICK THE CAN 5K RUN/WALK
EVENT ON APRIL 27, 2013.
WHEREAS, the Northeast Iowa Food Bank has requested that
they be allowed to hold a Kick the Can 5K Run/Walk event on April
27, 2013, together with the approval of the Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the route
to start in Exchange Park and end at the River Loop Amphitheatre
and Expo Plaza.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank
to hold a Kick the Can 5K Run/Walk event on April 27, 2013
beginning at 8:30 a.m., with the route to start in Exchange Park
and end at the River Loop Amphitheatre and Expo Plaza, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of April, 2013.
