SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 5808 ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 3, 2025, BY THE WATERLOO CITY COUNCIL AS AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF THE MARTIN ROAD DEVEL- OPMENT PLAN AREA TAX INCRE- MENT FINANCING DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO This is a summary of the ordinance approving an amendment of the Mar- tin Road Development Plan Area Tax Increment Financing District (TIF District`) in the City of Waterloo. Iowa (referred to below as the -Ordinance"): The general purpose of this Ordi- nance is to amend the TIF District to remove property from the Martin Road area of the city, which has been de- termined to be an economic develop- mentTlF district in which the City may provide financial incentives for devel- opment within the TIF District bound- aries as provided in Chapter 403 of the Code of Iowa. The urban renewal plan pertaining to the TIF District, as amended, is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa 50703. The Ordinance removes the following land from the amended TIF District area: The South Two Hundred Fifty (250.00) feet of Lot No. Sixteen (16).
