CITY OF WATERLOO CODE OF
ORDINANCES BY REPEALING
SUBSECTION 6(A)(2), DISPOSAL
OF YARD WASTTEE. OF CHAPTER
3. SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAL. TITLE 4. PUBLIC
HEALTH AND SAFETY. AND EN-
ACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW
SUBSECTION 6(A)(2), DISPOSAL
OF YARD WASTE. OF CHAPTER
3. SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAL. TITLE 4. PUBLIC
HEALTH AND SAFETY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WA-
TERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS_
That Subsection 6(A)(2), Disposal
of Yard Waste, of Chapter 3, Solid
Waste Collection and Disposal. Title
4, Public Health and Safety. is here-
by repealed and a new Subsection
6(A)(2). Disposal of Yard Waste, is
enacted In lieu thereof as follows: (2)
Disposal Of Yard Waste: A fixed sum
per month shall be charged to each
customer participating in the volun-
tary yard waste disposal program and
shall entitle the customer to dispose
of a standard container of yard waste
according to the ordinary collection
schedule. Yard waste shall be collect-
ed from mid -April through November
each year, during at least eighteen
(18) weeks as scheduled each year.
There is no yard waste collection De-
cember through March. unless weath-
er and staffing levels allow.
This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon its final passage.
