RESOLUTION NO. 2013-306
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO BOULDER CONTRACTING, LLC OF
GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
F.Y. 2013 SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 3
AND TRAIL REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 848, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $141,972.38.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Boulder Contracting, LLC of Grundy
Center, Iowa, in the amount of $141,972.38, in conjunction with
the F.Y. 2013 Sidewalk Repair Program - Zone 3 and Trail Repairs,
Contract No. 848, described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2013-253 after public hearing on April 8, 2013 on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby awarded, the
same being the apparent lowest bid for said project.
The Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for the said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of April, 2013.
