RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST BY THE CITY
OF WATERLOO TO DEDICATE A SANITARY SEWER
EASEMENT OVER THE NORTH 1,872 SQUARE FOOT OF
PARCEL H IN GOVERNMENT LOT 8, LOCATED TO THE
EAST OF 2123 COMMERCIAL STREET.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo requires the establishment of a sanitary sewer
easement to support infrastructure improvements; and
WHEREAS, the north 1,872 square feet of Parcel H in Government Lot 8, located east of
2123 Commercial Street, has been identified as suitable for this easement; and
WHEREAS, dedicating this easement is necessary to enhance the city's sanitary sewer
system infrastructure and ensure continued service reliability.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council approves the dedication of a sanitary sewer easement over the north
1,872 square feet of Parcel H in Government Lot 8.
2. The easement will be used for the installation, maintenance, and operation of sanitary
sewer infrastructure to improve service quality and reliability.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of January 2026.
