RESOLUTION NO. 2026-006
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SNAPSHOT AUDIT
AGREEMENT WITH SPYGLASS GROUP, LLC, FOR
ANALYSIS OF TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICE
ACCOUNTS TO SEEK COST RECOVERY, SERVICE
ELIMINATION, AND COST REDUCTION
RECOMMENDATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo utilizes various telecommunication services to support
its operations; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to analyze these telecommunication service accounts to
identify opportunities for cost recovery, service elimination, and cost reduction; and
WHEREAS, SpyGlass Group, LLC, specializes in conducting audits to provide cost -
saving recommendations and has submitted a favorable Snapshot Audit Agreement for
consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council approves the Snapshot Audit Agreement with SpyGlass Group,
LLC, to analyze the city's telecommunication service accounts.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the Snapshot Audit Agreement with
SpyGlass Group, LLC on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
