RESOLUTION NO. 2026-025 RESOLUTION APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, UP TO A MAXIMUM DOT CONTRIBUTION OF $500,000.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 SOUTH WATERLOO BUSINESS PARK - PHASE I, CONTRACT NO. 1129, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. WHEREAS, Jeffrey P. Weber and Denise K. Weber propose to construct a new single- family home on an infill lot located at 610 Burbank Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa; and WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo aims to encourage infill development through financial incentives and strategic partnerships. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The Development Agreement with Jeffrey P. Weber and Denise K. Weber for the construction of a new single-family home on the infill lot located at 610 Burbank Avenue is hereby approved. 2. The City will provide a $5,000.00 infill incentive to be granted upon substantial completion of the home. 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
