RESOLUTION NO. 2026-018
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST TO SEEK TWO
PROPOSALS FOR NINE MANUAL CARDIAC
MONITOR/DEFIBRILLATORS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, recognizes the need for acquiring nine manual
cardiac monitor/defibrillators to enhance emergency medical services; and
WHEREAS, obtaining competitive proposals ensures the best terms in terms of cost and
quality for the City's requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves the request to seek two proposals for the acquisition
of nine manual cardiac monitor/defibrillators.
2. The City is authorized to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for this acquisition.
3. Proposals received will be evaluated based on criteria including price, features, and
vendor reputation. The City Council will review the evaluations to make a final decision.
