RESOLUTION NO. 2026-019 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 2, 2025, TO APPROVE A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT BY ZYDECO INVESTMENTS LLC TO ALLOW FOR UP TO 200,000 SQUARE FEET OF PHASE II AND PHASE III EXPANSIONS IN THE "M-2,P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT LOCATED AT 4050 LEVERSEE ROAD, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE. WHEREAS, Zydeco Investments LLC has submitted a request for a Site Plan Amendment to allow for up to 200,000 square feet of phase II and phase III expansions in the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District located at 4050 Leversee Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to consider this amendment and provide an opportunity for public input. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The public hearing be set for February 2, 2026, to discuss the proposed request for a Site Plan Amendment to allow for up to 200,000 square feet of phase II and phase III expansions in the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District located at 4050 Leversee Road. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in accordance with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
