RESOLUTION NO. 2016-527
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF CEDAR VALLEY
PRIDEFEST FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Pridefest is requesting a variance to the Noise in conjunction
with 5th annual Pridefest Festival from August 27, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, said Cedar Valley Pridefest for variance to Noise Ordinance on August 27,
2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., in conjunction with the 5th annual Pridefest Festival, along
with the closure of 4th Street from Jefferson to Washington, together with recommendation and
approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Cedar Valley Pridefest for variance to Noise Ordinance
on August 27, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., in conjunction with the 5th annual Pridefest
Festival, along with the closure of 4th Street from Jefferson to Washington, be and the same
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 2016.
