RESOLUTION NO. 2016-528
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GRACE
REFORMED CHURCH FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094,NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Grace Reformed Church is requesting a variance to the Noise in
conjunction with the "Sunday in the Park" event to be held at Galloway Park, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, said Grace Reformed Church for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the "Sunday in the Park" event to be
held at Galloway Park, located at the corner of Maxwell & Stratford Streets, together with
recommendation and approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Grace Reformed Church for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the "Sunday in the Park"
event to be held at Galloway Park, located at the corner of Maxwell & Stratford Streets, be and
the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 2016.
