RESOLUTION NO. 2016-531 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 25, 2016, FOR THE REQUEST BY JDE ENGINEERING ON BEHALF OF STAINLESS PLUS, FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 104' X 50' STORAGE BUILDING, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE. WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th day of July, 2016, for the purpose of considering the request by JDE Engineering on behalf of Stainless Plus, for a site plan amendment to allow for the construction of a 104'x 50' storage building generally located at 811 Elliott Court, and legally described as follows: Parcel "B" of Plat of Survey recorded document number 2004-2281 That part of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section Seven (7), Township Eighty-eight North (T88N), Range Twelve West (R12W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, Described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of said Southeast Quarter(SE1/4) which is One Hundred Seventy-four and Thirty-three Hundredths (174.33) feet North of the Northeasterly right-of-way line of Cedar Terrace Drive; thence S 84° 54' 49"E One Hundred Seventy-Six and Ninety-two hundredths (176.92) feet; thence N 00°00'00"E One hundred Six and Three Tenths (106.30) feet; thence N870 56' 49"W One Hundred Seventy-six and Forty-six hundredths (176.46) feet to said West line of Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4); thence S 00°00'00"E Ninety-seven(97.00) feet to the point of beginning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
