RESOLUTION NO. 2016-546
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH BLACK
HAWK COUNTY TO ACCEPT ALTERNATE BID IA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $15,000 AND ALTERNATE BID 1B IN THE
AMOUNT OF $34,500 FROM MURPHY TOWER SERVICE,
LLC, OF CARLISLE, IOWA (OPENED JUNE 28, 2016 BY
BLACK HAWK COUNTY), AT A TOTAL COST OF $51,500 TO
BE PAID TO BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW RADIO
COMMUNICATION TOWER AT CITY HALL, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
THE SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Black Hawk County to accept Alternate Bid IA in the amount of
$15,000 and Alternate Bid 1B in the amount of$34,500 from Murphy Tower Service, LLC, of
Carlisle, Iowa (opened June 28, 2016 by Black Hawk County), at a total cost of$51,500 to be
paid to Black Hawk County, in conjunction with the construction of a new radio communication
tower at City Hall, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 2016.
