RESOLUTION NO. 2013-680A
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLINE RECONNECTION AT
334 BATES STREET.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2013-679A, plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Waterline
Reconnection at 334 Bates Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
have been approved and adopted by this Council after the public
hearing on August 19, 2013 as prescribed by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said project
proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of August, 2013.

RESOLUTION NO. 2013-680
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY FUNDS WITH
IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Application for Traffic Safety Funds dated August 12,
2013, in the amount of $50,000.00, to be used for safety
improvements consisting of improving traffic signal
installations, pedestrian crossing, pedestrian ADA ramps,
detection cameras and signal phasing changes at the Downing
Avenue and Ansborough Avenue intersection, by and between the
Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
