STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 1010.2.5 - Bolt locks. Manually operated flush bolts or surface bolts are not permitted. Exceptions:
1.On doors not required for egress in individual dwelling units or sleeping units.
2.Where a pair of doors serves a storage or equipment room, manually operated
edge- or surface -mounted bolts are permitted on the inactive leaf. 3.Where a pair
of doors serves an occupant load of less than 50 persons in a Group B, F or S
occupancy, manually operated edge- or surface -mounted bolts are permitted on
the inactive leaf. The inactive leaf shall not contain doorknobs, panic bars or
similar operating hardware. 4.Where a pair of doors serves a Group B, F or S
occupancy, manually operated edge- or surface -mounted bolts are permitted on
the inactive leaf provided that such inactive leaf is not needed to meet egress
capacity requirements and the building is equipped throughout with an
automatic sprinkler system in accordance with Section 903.3.1.1. The inactive leaf
shall not contain doorknobs, panic bars or similar operating hardware. 5.Where a
pair of doors serves patient care rooms in Group 1-2 occupancies, self -latching
edge- or surface -mounted bolts are permitted on the inactive leaf provided that
the inactive leaf is not needed to meet egress capacity requirements and the
inactive leaf shall not contain doorknobs, panic bars or similar operating
hardware.

Original Comment: remove surface mount bolt lock. Only panic hardware allowed
on door.

FAIL 102.4 - Application of building The design and construction of new structures shall comply with the
code. International Building Code , and any alterations, additions, changes in use or
changes in structures required by this code, which are within the scope of the
International Building Code , shall be made in accordance therewith.
Location: New panic hardware on back exit door in party room
Original Comment: obtain permit and inspections for panic hardware installed
with out permit.
FAIL 505.1 - Address identification. New and existing buildings shall be provided with approved address
identification. The address identification shall be legible and placed in a position
that is visible from the street or road fronting the property. Address identification
characters shall contrast with their background. Address numbers shall be
Arabic numbers or alphabetical letters. Numbers shall not be spelled out. Each
character shall be not less than 4 inches (102 mm) high with a minimum stroke
width of 1/2 inch (12.7 mm). Where required by the fire code official, address
identification shall be provided in additional approved locations to facilitate
emergency response. Where access is by means of a private road and the
building cannot be viewed from the public way, a monument, pole or other sign
or means shall be used to identify the structure. Address identification shall be
maintained.

603.8 - Temporary wiring.
Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other
device not complying with NFPA 70 shall be prohibited. The construction and use
of current taps and relocatable taps shall be in accordance with NFPA 70 and this
code.
Location: Dart machines.
Original Comment: remove multi -plug adapter. You may be able to utilize a circuit
protected power strip with a manual reset plugged directly into wall outlet and
properly supported or mounted.
Temporary The use of temporary wiring for electrical power and lighting
installations shall not exceed is allowed for a period not to exceed of 90 days.
Temporary wiring methods shall meet the applicable provisions of NFPA 70.
Exception: Temporary wiring for electrical power and lighting installations is
allowed complying with the applicable provisions of NFPA 70 is permitted during
periods of construction, remodeling, repair or demolition of buildings,
structures, equipment or similar activities.

Original Comment: Lighting is improperly installed. Must not hang by wires.
Lighting only allowed to be displayed for 90 days unless specifically listed for
permanent installation in manufactures specifications.
