FAIL 1010.2.9 - Panic and fire exit Swinging doors serving a Group H occupancy and swinging doors serving rooms
hardware. or spaces with an occupant load of 50 or more in a Group A or E occupancy shall
not be provided with a latch or lock other than panic hardware or fire exit
hardware. Exceptions: 1.A main exit of a Group A occupancy shall be permitted to
have locking devices in accordance with Section 1010.2.4, Item 2 3. 2.Doors
provided with panic hardware or fire exit hardware and serving a Group A or E
occupancy shall be permitted to be electrically locked in accordance with Section
1010.2.12 or 1010.2.11. 3. Exit access doors serving occupied exterior areas shall
be permitted to be locked in accordance with Section 1010.2.4, Item 8.
4.Courtrooms shall be permitted to be locked in accordance with Section
1010.2.13, Item 3. Electrical rooms with equipment rated 1,200 amperes or more
and over 6 feet (1829 mm) wide, and that contain overcurrent devices, switching
devices or control devices with exit or exit access doors, shall be equipped with
panic hardware or fire exit hardware. The doors shall swing in the direction of
egress travel.

Original Comment: remove thumb turn lock from exit door. REPEAT OFFENSE
FAIL 1032.2 - Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits and exit discharges shall be continuously
maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case
of fire or other emergency where the building area served by the means of
egress is occupied. An exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose
that interferes with a means of egress.

Original Comment: Power cord stretched to the max, end pulling off. Repair
Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other
device not complying with NFPA 70 shall be prohibited. The construction and use
of current taps and relocatable taps shall be in accordance with NFPA 70 and this
code.
Location: Bait cooler front of store by front counter and door.
Original Comment: Remove cooler from power strip. Cooler must plug directly
into wall outlet. Mount power strip REPEAT OFFENSE

FAIL 906.2 - General requirements. Portable fire extinguishers shall be selected, installed and maintained in
accordance with this section and NFPA 10. Exceptions: 1.The distance of travel to
reach an extinguisher shall not apply to the spectator seating portions of Group
A-5 occupancies. 2.Thirty-day inspections shall not be required and maintenance
shall be allowed to be once every 3 years for dry -chemical or halogenated agent
portable fire extinguishers that are supervised by a listed and approved
electronic monitoring device, provided that all of the following conditions are
met: 2.1.Electronic monitoring shall confirm that extinguishers are properly
positioned, properly charged and unobstructed. 2.2.Loss of power or circuit
continuity to the electronic monitoring device shall initiate a trouble signal.
2.3.The extinguishers shall be installed inside of a building or cabinet in a
noncorrosive environment. 2.4.Electronic monitoring devices and supervisory
circuits shall be tested every 3 years when extinguisher maintenance is
performed. 2.5.A written log of required hydrostatic test dates for extinguishers
shall be maintained by the owner to verify that hydrostatic tests are conducted at
the frequency required by NFPA 10. 3.In Group 1-3, portable fire extinguishers
shall be permitted to be located at staff locations.

Original Comment: Provide annual service for fire alarm. Currently 192 days past
due. Contractor must upload online to the compliance engine.
