STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 305.1 - Clearance from Clearance between ignition sources, such as luminaires, heaters, flame -
ignition sources. producing devices and combustible materials, shall be maintained in an
approved manner.
Location: Water heater.
Original Comment: Maintain 3 feet clear around water heater.
FAIL 506.2 - Key box maintenance. The operator of the building shall immediately notify the fire code official and
provide the new key where a lock is changed or rekeyed. The key to such lock
shall be secured in the key box.
Location: Knox Box.
Original Comment: I will check knox box for proper master key for building. Will
contact business if key does not work.
FAIL 606.3.3.1 - Inspection. Hoods, grease -removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances shall be
inspected at intervals specified in Table 606.3.3.1 or as approved by the fire code
official. Inspections shall be completed by qualified individuals.

FAIL 904.13.5.2 - Extinguishing Automatic fire -extinguishing systems shall be serviced not less frequently than
system service. every six months and after activation of the system. Inspection shall be by
qualified individuals, and a certificate of inspection shall be forwarded to the fire
code official upon completion.

Original Comment: Commercial Hood suppression system is past due according
to Compliance engine website. Contractor needs to upload report if completed.
FAIL 906.2 - General requirements. Portable fire extinguishers shall be selected, installed and maintained in
accordance with this section and NFPA 10. Exceptions: 1.The distance of travel to
reach an extinguisher shall not apply to the spectator seating portions of Group
A-5 occupancies. 2.Thirty-day inspections shall not be required and maintenance
shall be allowed to be once every 3 years for dry -chemical or halogenated agent
portable fire extinguishers that are supervised by a listed and approved
electronic monitoring device, provided that all of the following conditions are
met: 2.1.Electronic monitoring shall confirm that extinguishers are properly
positioned, properly charged and unobstructed. 2.2.Loss of power or circuit
continuity to the electronic monitoring device shall initiate a trouble signal.
2.3.The extinguishers shall be installed inside of a building or cabinet in a
noncorrosive environment. 2.4.Electronic monitoring devices and supervisory
circuits shall be tested every 3 years when extinguisher maintenance is
performed. 2.5.A written log of required hydrostatic test dates for extinguishers
shall be maintained by the owner to verify that hydrostatic tests are conducted at
the frequency required by NFPA 10. 3.In Group 1-3, portable fire extinguishers
shall be permitted to be located at staff locations.

extinguishers for deep fat extinguishers shall be provided as follows: 1.For up to four fryers having a
fryers. maximum cooking medium capacity of 80 pounds (36.3 kg) each: one Class K
portable fire extinguisher of a minimum 1.5-gallon (6 L) capacity. 2.For every
additional group of four fryers having a maximum cooking medium capacity of 80
pounds (36.3 kg) each: one additional Class K portable fire extinguisher of a
minimum 1.5-gallon (6 L) capacity shall be provided. 3.For individual fryers
exceeding 6 square feet (0.55 m2) in surface area: Class K portable fire
extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the extinguisher
manufacturer's recommendations.

Re -inspection dates are automatically generated 30 days out from the initial
inspection. Normal operating hours for inspections & re -inspections are Monday -
Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. If the automatically generated re -inspection date lands on
a weekend, the re -inspection will typically be performed the following Monday or
Tuesday. If all corrections are made before the 30 days, you can call to set up an earlier
re -inspection. *****Re inspection fees may be assessed for subsequent re -
inspections. Re -inspection fees start at $100, then $150, and $200 for all subsequent
re-inspections.-
