HomeMy WebLinkAboutMOU - REAP - Boathouse Enhancements-7/25/2016GRANT APPLICATION MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING This Memorandum of Understanding is between the City of Waterloo, Iowa hereinafter referred to as City, and the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments hereinafter referred to as INRCOG. WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage INRCOG's grant writing services for the following project: Type of Grant: Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) Project Description: Boathouse Enhancements INRCOG will not charge the City in advance for grant preparation services; however, in the event that REAP funding is awarded to the City for this project, INRCOG will submit a grant preparation invoice in the amount of one and one-half percent (maximum $1,500.00) of the funds awarded, to be paid by the City from local funds. The REAP program is administered by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and will cover 100 percent of eligible project costs up to $200,000.
