STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 509.1 - Identification. Fire protection equipment shall be identified in an approved manner. Rooms
containing controls for air-conditioning systems, sprinkler risers and valves, or
other fire detection, suppression or control elements fire protection systems
shall be identified for the use of the fire department. Approved signs required to
identify fire protection system equipment and equipment location shall be
constructed of durable materials, permanently installed and readily visible.

Location: on outside of Electrical room door containing fire sprinkler riser and
fire alarm control panel
Original Comment: Install permanent signage stating "Fire Sprinkler Riser Room"
and another stating "Fire Alarm Control Panel" or FACP. Red signs with white
letters.
603.2 - Abatement of unsafe Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical
conditions and electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the
hazards. responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other
equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes Conditions that

conduit that are ripped off the wall.
