RESOLUTION NO. 2026-061
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM OF WATERLOO, IA., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $484,800.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
WATERLOO SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
AIRLINE HIGHWAY LIFT STATION, FORCE MAIN, AND
SANITARY SEWER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa is undertaking sanitary sewer system
improvements commonly referred to as the Waterloo Sanitary Sewer System Improvements —
Airline Highway Lift Station, Force Main, and Sanitary Sewer Project, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain AECOM, of Waterloo, Iowa to provide
professional services in conjunction with the Project in an amount not to exceed $484,800.00;
and
WHEREAS, City staff recommend approval of the Professional Services Agreement and
authorization for execution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Professional Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa and
AECOM, of Waterloo, Iowa, in an amount not to exceed $484,800.00, for professional services
in conjunction with the Waterloo Sanitary Sewer System Improvements —Airline Highway Lift
Station, Force Main, and Sanitary Sewer Project, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
